Mitacs Internship Program – Service design

MITACS is a Canadian, not-for-profit organization that has designed and delivered research and training programs with universities and companies throughout Canada. Niiu has worked with MITACS to help reduce the complexity of their program application process by applying a service design approach to map the current state and make recommendations for future state.

Niiu provided an assessment of the communications being provided at all stages and considered it alongside the website communications and experience to align to a cohesive and consistent message, which will be key in driving the uptake of the program.

Niiu also made recommendations for optimizing communications so MITACS can spend less time managing the application process and more time matchmaking prospective participants.
